{"id":7120,"date":"2017-02-01T16:15:00","date_gmt":"2017-02-01T16:15:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsmediauk.org\/newsquest-launches-powerful-new-public-notices-platform\/"},"modified":"2024-05-03T10:11:40","modified_gmt":"2024-05-03T09:11:40","slug":"newsquest-launches-powerful-new-public-notices-platform","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsmediauk.org\/blog\/2017\/02\/01\/newsquest-launches-powerful-new-public-notices-platform\/","title":{"rendered":"Newsquest Launches Powerful New Public Notices Platform"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Newsquest has announced the launch of a new online public notices platform that enables the public to be better informed about local decisions.<\/p>\n<p>The new responsive website delivers added value to local councils by extending the reach of their statutory notices in print, to the huge digital audiences of Newquest&#8217;s local websites, many of which now reach over 70 per cent of their local population. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Key features of the new service include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hyperlocal search &ndash; search by distance and local authority;<\/li>\n<li>Email alerts &ndash; set multiple locations and receive relevant notices;<\/li>\n<li>Two-way conversation and social media sharing &ndash; share, comment, write to your MP or council for each notice;<\/li>\n<li>Dedicated local authority pages &ndash; view notices by council and access their contact details.
